Okay... well I'm here at UCFV... it would be a perfectly lovely time to catch up on some reading and such.. but I have nothing that I should be reading as I came totally unprepared. Meh.. what can you do? Just waiting for class to start.
Holy what a weekend. Friday I was at practicum and left at 5 for my VS Christmas party. Had some last minute errands to do, so I did that, picked up Ry and off we went. Decent meal.. it was cheesy.. but that's what VS is about apparently. It was funny b/c Ry was sooooooo bored, and I was talking to Dale (the cst. at my practicum) today, and he said.. omg! I hate the games Delaine (from VS) plays.. it's so boring so tell your bf he's not alone! lol... men!
Then saturday was doing a bit of laundry, getting our hair done, and off to Ry's X'mas party. Sure it's early, but Dec. is just TOO busy for them to take time off. Anyhoo.. we went to Joe Fortes in Vancouver.. OMG! it was AMAZING! 4 course meal.. it was the best!
Then we were supposed to go to Yuk Yuks.. which didn't pan out, but we ended up going to the lounge at our hotel.. (the Sheraton Wall Centre.. OMG! SO AMAZING!) and made our own fun. It was good times.. met some guy who used to be a NY Islander.. he's a teacher now, and a nice, smart guy who understood how completely retarded Americans can be! lol.. so we made some good jokes. I think Jordanna was diggin him ;)
So around 1:30 some of the men were goin to the peelers.. Ry and I were bagged, not everyone was going, so we figured we'd pack it in. We hadn't checked in and had to go get our car (with all our stuff in it) in the parkade at the restaurant. Get there.. OMG IT WAS LOCKED!!!!!!!
We waited around for 2 hours for security to come.. bastards! Sure it was open at 7am but we wanted our stuff, and we didn't want to get towed!
Anyhoo.. I was frozen, came back to our AMAZING freakin suite.. with pillows like air, comforters to die for.. and crashed. Then Ry got up early, salvaged our car from the parkade, and we slept til 9. Then after a lovely $20 room service breakfast.. got up and went home. There what did we do? NOTHING! omg! I feel so bad b/c I have so much work and reading to do.. but we did nothing but lie in bed, nap, watch tv, and nap some more. It was great and Cara and Nalla loved it! I think in over a year Ry and I have never really spent a day like that.. so it was nice. Too bad it was such a nice day out.. kind of felt like it was a waste.. but what can you do... it was needed.
And now I'm here.. was at my practicum all day.. walked part way here.. realized it was cold dark and foggy, and since I have no real jacket on I splurged the $5 to cab here :)
So that's my last bit of time in a nutshell.. Now b/c I was such a slacker this weekend my next week or so is going to be insane.. but hey.. the leisure was sooooooooo nice!
Dec. 3rd is superskills.. my dad, chris and taylor are coming down. We're going to take them b/c amazing Jehn has a ton of tix. We'll have some dinner after and then I think they'll go home Sunday.. I can't wait! It'll be fun! WOOOHOOO Canucks..

Alright.. I think I've wasted enough time and I can head over to class now.
