Okay.. so I think my midterm actually went pretty well! YAY!!! It was for History.. and I'd been really good about reading and notes up until Industrialization (Which, let's face it, is not nearly as interesting at the French Revolution's Reign of Terror, and Napoleon's Rise in France!). Anyhoo.. this is the exam
Part One-
5 words, pick 2 and explain what they are the significance of them. (2.5 marks each) So I picked the Jacobins and the Bourgeoisie.. at least 4.. although I'm thinking 5 I really don't know how tough/easy she'll mark them.
Part Two-
4 questions, pick 2 and write 2 paragraphs about them. Woohooo! Super easy b/c luckily there were two pre-industrialization lectures questions! (5 marks)
Part Three-
3 statements, pick one and argue either for or against the statment. OMG!!! One of them was "Napoleon's reign was beneficial for France and Europe". Well DUH!!! The essay was supposed to be at least Intro(thesis), 4 body paragraphs, Conclusion. NICE! I got about 6 body paragraphs.. and my thesis was solid.. conclusion knocked it out of the park!!! (10 marks) for a total of 20% of my mark!! EEP!
I'm hoping I didn't have my head up my ass and sucked when I thought I rocked it!!

Anyhoo.. so I'm killin time in the library.. reading about the Youth Criminal Justice Act.. woohoo! How fun is that!! OMG! I'm sure it would piss some people off to know that it is policy to try and divert a youth from court (either with a warning or diversion method) before you can send them to jail. I whole heartedly agree with this.. because of my background info (however limited).. but I do.. so there you go.. and apparently so does Parliament :P
And yes.. I really am doing work, I'm just taking a break b/c I've been studying all day!!
OMG! I just have to say that for someone with shitty posture (such as myself) sitting for 4 hours with the front desk people at Police HQ and then another 4.5 hours with the dispatchers and 911 operators, then spend a whole night/day studying, writing a test, and reading some more.. is not good! lol!! I need to correct my posture b/c holy *close your eyes if you are not ready for profanity* FUCK does my lower back kill! so what do I do? Sit up straighter for about a half second.. and then I slouch over! LOL! I rule ;)
Anyhoo.. COME ON PEOPLE!!! submit your names for my thingy and I'll answer questions about you! GIVE ME SOMETHING TO DO! It's also kind of fun just to think about your friends in that way to remind you of good times that may have slipped to the back of your mind!

OMG! So... Rylan and I had a FANTASTIC anniversary!
The weather was beautiful... which was super nice considering we haven't been having the nicest days.. silly rain... anyhoo... He went out and about and got his hair cut and did some running around in the AM while I got ready. When he came back he had a dozen gorgeous pink roses, and 2 gifts. He tried just giving me the one.. but I saw the other one as he was trying to put it down (he's not that sneeky) and seeing as it was a jewelry box he gave it to me as well. He got me a freakin Ipod Nano.. OMG! It's TINY!!!! He ordered it from Apple and got it engraved!!! It says Happy First Anniversary love Rylan on the back! It's super cute! I've wanted an MP3 Player for AGES now.. so I was pretty stoked. The jewelry was a beautiful pair of white gold/diamond earrings that match the necklace he bought me for my birthday.
I was spoiled :)
Then we headed off to Van where we went to the Dr. Sun Yat Sen Chinese Cultural Gardens.. it was amazing there! They had these beautiful walkways, bamboo, bonsai trees, ponds that are cloudy so the reflections are better, coy, just so many beautiful things! It was so peaceful, and the gorgeous weather made it all the better. Then we wandered to the other side, which is a public garder, and walked through this killer bamboo forest type area... it's soooooooooo tall! Ry took a bunch of pics, so I'll post when they're uploaded.
After that we stopped by his mom's work to say hi, and wandered on down to Granville. That was alright.. nothing special, but the weather was great so it was fun.
Then we went to Home Depot (wooohooo ... NOT!) and this cool furniture store beside it. Moe's.. looks super cool, we weren't going to go b/c it looks kind of expensive.. but when we got inside they had killer deals, and we ended up getting an AWESOME chair and a half for $220! All we need is a new slipcover, but that won't be more than $100 which is still such a killer deal!
On the way home we stopped at Cactus Club for dinner, watched the end of the ball game, and game home :) It was great! I played with my Nano for a bit, got a bunch of songs uploaded onto it and then I'm now writing my paper for history.. lol!
Okay.. really I have to get going b/c it's 5am and I just want to be done dammit!

Happy Belated Turkey Day all!
OMG!!!!
It's our One Year Anniversary Today!!!!!
I can't believe it's already been one year... the time has flown by so quickly. Sometimes it feels like just yesterday that Ry and I started going out.. most times it feels like I've known him forever.
It's hard to imagine what my life would be like if I hadn't met him. Would I still be living with Jen? Would I be finishing my diploma this semester? Would I have a different job? Different bf? I really don't know.. and I don't want to.. because with Rylan I feel like I'm right where I should be. I don't question should I be with him or should I not? Never!!! I know I'm where I am supposed to be because it just feels so right. Even in the mornings when he's bugging me and giving me a hard time about being cranky without my coffee.. no matter how much he may annoy me then, I love him so much it makes my heart ache. He is one of the kindest most considerate people that I have ever met, and I count my blessings that he is mine and I am his.. and that together we have our happy little pug/cat/fish family :)
